Hiking Scotland!

Ann enjoying the byproduct of being fit & healthy!

Meet Ann, she has been a member of our Body Sculpt (Tuesday a.m.) class since 2012! Her dedication to her fitness can be seen by her increased stamina and strength. Ann has even joined the cardio kickboxing program & is a part of the filming crew for two Fit Over 50 on line workouts! She is a great example of how consistancy in your fitness pays off in so many ways - if you put in the work - you'll earn great benefits! Here is a quote from Ann regarding her latest adventure:

"My husband and I (both seniors) recently spent time in Scotland's Outer Hebrides. The scenery was unbelievably beautiful, and the terrain was rugged. My classes with Joanie prepared me for this hiking trip in a number of ways. Every class I take increases my stamina, which is important on long hikes. Balance exercises have helped me face uneven, slippery, and rocky ground, which Scotland has in abundance. Core workouts have also been essential. It sounds silly, but I think of both core and strength training when I'm schlepping a heavy suitcase around. Fitness continues to be an essential part of my travel preparation!"
